Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Vid AI accesses, uses, stores, and protects information when a user connects a Google or YouTube account.

Information we access

With the user’s explicit Google authorization, Vid AI may access read-only YouTube channel information and YouTube Analytics reports, including channel and video performance, traffic-source, audience-retention, engagement, and search-term data that Google makes available through its APIs. Vid AI may also request Google Ads keyword-planning information for research queries.

How information is used

Authorized Google user data is used only to provide the features requested by the user: showing channel analytics, evaluating published videos, explaining performance signals, and supporting keyword research. Vid AI does not use private channel data to build public competitor reports.

Storage and security

Authentication credentials and tokens are treated as confidential. Access tokens may be refreshed only to maintain the user-authorized connection. Reasonable technical safeguards are used to prevent unauthorized access. During the private development preview, application data is processed for the connected user and is not offered as a public data set.

Sharing and selling

Vid AI does not sell Google user data. It does not share Google user data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers only as necessary to operate the service, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law.

User control and deletion

Users can disconnect their Google account inside Vid AI and can revoke access at any time from their Google Account permissions page. A user may request deletion of locally stored application data associated with the service by contacting the service operator through the support contact shown on the Google consent screen.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Vid AI’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the product develops. Material changes will be published on this page with a new effective date.
